(part of the CGAConnect 2021 family of online events)

Registration Has Now Closed

Since our founding more than 100 years ago, the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) has been dedicated to promoting the safe handling and shipping of compressed gas cylinders. Consistent with that mission, we are pleased to announce the return of CGA’s Cylinder Requalification Operations Safety Seminar, for the first time since 2016. This year, CGA’s industry leading forum will be offered as a two-day, virtual event open to CGA members and non-members alike.

The CGA 2021 Cylinder Requalification Operations Safety Seminar is designed to provide a forum for the industry to meet, raise, and discuss issues devoted to cylinder requalification, cylinder valves, and regulatory issues, and provide attendees with an opportunity to share experiences and communicate lessons learned that will further develop personnel, skills, and knowledge.

Participants will hear from industry experts on a range of topics including:

  • Cylinder requalification
  • Visual inspection/requalification methods and testing (referencing CGA C-6, Standard for Visual Inspection of Steel Compressed Gas Cylinders and Title 49 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations)
  • Pressure testing, water jacket testing
  • Hydrostatic cylinder retesting
  • ISO cylinders – requalification requirements, methods, testing, markings, pressure, etc. – and current status and reciprocity
  • Valves
  • Industrial and medical gas cylinder filling

Who Should Participate?
